Was your last sewing experience in your high school home ec class? If you’d like to find out how fun sewing can be—and not get graded on it!—come learn from a creative fashion designer who makes her own clothes and loves to share her knowledge. In a friendly environment, come and learn how to sew or to update your techniques. We’ll go over sewing terms, fabric selection, how to read a pattern, pressing techniques, notions, garment construction, and sewing machine operation. You will sew an envelope pillow and make a custom-fit, elastic waist skirt (or pants for men). Must bring sewing machine!
